Looking after it
Dishwasher safe. Tritan does not cloud, but it will scratch against cutlery, so give it its own space in the basket.
About this product
An unbreakable 420 ml Tritan short tumbler for water, juice or whisky.
Sold per glass. A smooth, simple profile that suits an everyday glass.
A short tumbler in clear Tritan plastic, 420 ml.
Priced and sold per glass, so you order exactly the number you need.
Dishwasher safe, and the listing states Tritan keeps its colour and gloss after hundreds of dishwasher cycles.
The everyday glass for a household where things get dropped, and the one to take outside to a pool, a patio or a campsite.
Tritan is the material that made reusable drinkware worth owning. It is clear enough to pass for glass across a table, and the listing states it holds that clarity and gloss after hundreds of dishwasher cycles, where ordinary clear plastic goes dull.
This is the glass that gets used every day rather than at a party. The listing describes it as completely clear with a glass-like look and feel that will not fade even after hundreds of dishwasher cycles, and customers on the live store single out the weight in the hand.
The everyday glass for a household where things get dropped, and the one to take outside to a pool, a patio or a campsite.
These are priced per glass rather than as a set, so you buy the number you need. Delivery is free on orders of $100 or more, measured on the total in your cart.

Got questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
Which payment methods are accepted?
Credit and debit cards, processed securely by Stripe, and PayPal. Nothing else is taken at this checkout.
What currency are the prices displayed in?
All prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. No GST is added at checkout.
What are the delivery options and how long will it take?
Delivery is New Zealand wide and takes 5 to 7 days after a 24 to 48 hour handling time. It is free on orders of $100 or more, measured on the total you see in the cart. Below that, and on any order below that, delivery is a flat $25.
Do I get a receipt for my order?
Yes. A receipt is emailed once payment is made, and a second email with a tracking number follows once the parcel has shipped.
How do I know if my order has been shipped?
You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number once the order is marked complete and the parcel has been collected. We do not have a tracking code before that, so there is nothing to send you sooner.
Do you have a shop location?
No. We are an online supplier with no physical shop or showroom, which is how the prices stay where they are.
Are the products new or second hand?
Every product is brand new. We buy end of line, excess stock and deleted lines from large wholesalers, which is where the price comes from.
Can I return an item?
Yes. You can return anything within 15 days of purchase for an exchange or a refund, including if you simply change your mind, as long as it comes back in its original packaging with proof of purchase. You pay the return postage unless the item is faulty, not as described or does not do what the manufacturer says it does, in which case we cover it. The consumer guarantees of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply on top of that policy and are not affected by it.
What is Tritan and how is it different from ordinary plastic?
Tritan is a clear copolyester used for reusable drinkware. The listing describes it as holding its clarity and gloss after hundreds of dishwasher cycles, where other clear plastics go cloudy, and as fast displacing polycarbonate for reusable glasses.
Are these glasses really unbreakable?
The listing describes them as durable and virtually unbreakable rather than indestructible. They are made to survive being knocked over or dropped on a patio or by a pool, which is what they are sold for.
Can they go in the dishwasher?
Yes. All of the Tritan glassware here is dishwasher safe and is sold as reusable for exactly that reason.
Do they look like real glass?
That is the point of the material. The listing calls it an ultra-clear realistic glass look, and the customer comments on the live store repeatedly say people did not realise they were plastic.
Are they suitable for outdoors, by a pool or on a boat?
Yes, and that is the main use the store describes: avoiding broken glass around a pool or hot tub, and taking them camping, on picnics and to festivals.
Am I buying one glass or a set?
One glass. The price is per glass and you order the number you need, which is stated beside the price on the product page.
Will the glasses go cloudy over time?
The listing states that Tritan retains its colour and gloss after hundreds of dishwasher cycles, and contrasts that with clear plastic glasses that lose their lustre after repeated washing.
Are they recyclable?
The listing describes the Tritan glassware as recyclable and reusable. Check what your local council accepts before putting one in a kerbside bin.
Can I put hot drinks in them?
The listings describe these as drinkware for wine, spirits, champagne, water and juice. They publish no maximum temperature, so we do not claim one.
Do the different Tritan glasses match each other?
They are all clear Tritan with the same finish, so a flute, a wine glass and a tumbler sit together on a table. The shapes and capacities differ and each is listed on its own page.
Am I buying one glass or a set?
One. The price on this page is per glass and you order the number you want.
What capacity is it?
420 ml.
What is it made of?
Tritan plastic, a clear copolyester used for reusable drinkware.
Will it break if I drop it?
The listing describes it as durable and virtually unbreakable, which is the reason it exists. It is not indestructible and no claim is made that it is.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
Yes, and the listing states it keeps its colour and gloss after hundreds of cycles.
Does it look like plastic?
The listing calls it an ultra-clear realistic glass look, and the customer comments on the live store repeatedly say people could not tell.
Is it safe around a pool?
That is one of its main uses: no broken glass around a pool, hot tub or patio.
Will it go cloudy?
The listing states Tritan retains its lustre where other clear plastics lose theirs after repeated washing.
Can I take it camping?
Yes. The listing names camping trips, picnics and festivals.
Is it recyclable?
The listing describes the Tritan drinkware as recyclable and reusable. Check what your council accepts.
How many should I order for a dinner party?
One per guest, plus a spare or two. There is no minimum and no set size to work around.
Is GST added at checkout?
No. This store does not add GST at checkout, so the price on the page is the price you pay.
